A community can be defined by its food and we believe fresh, healthy and nutritious food can be a foundation for building a community. Common Ground wants to use their festival as a vehicle for good, and so they’d like to introduce you to their charity initiative!

Grow For A Cause is an innovative partnership between Common Ground Farm and both Anova Women’s Shelter in London, ON and the YWCA St.Thomas-Elgin. Produce grown by the farm will be delivered to their kitchens. Their chefs will then prepare these freshly picked organic vegetables for the women and children that they shelter. Grow For A Cause will increase access to quality nutrition to marginalized communities and remove institutional barriers.
