Time to Build!
May 5, 2021 – Project Tiny Hope is a partnership effort between Doug Tarry Homes, the YWCA and Sanctuary Homes. We have a shared vision to bring quality, energy efficient, well maintained and supportive affordable housing to the community of St. Thomas. The project includes 20 Tiny Homes and a multi story apartment building with green space and community gardens. Our goal is to provide housing that is affordable while enhancing the community. With a $200,000 dollar donation from Sanctuary Homes to purchase the lot we have secured the property.
WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT DOUG TARRY HOMES IS DONATING $280,000 TO REMEDIATE THE LAND!
We anticipate that work on the land will commence soon and then we will move forward to the next phase – THE BUILD!
Doug Tarry Homes is CHALLENGING THE COMMUNITY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FUND so that we can reach our goal of raising 1.5 million towards the construction costs of this exciting and unique project!
